Wetlands Board 2024 Public Hearing Schedule and Application Deadline Dates

Meeting Date: Second or Third Thursday of each month (varies)

Where: Board of Supervisors Meeting Room, County Administration Building, 8311 Mary Ball Road, Lancaster, Virginia (Live streams and recordings of previous meetings are also available on Lancaster County's YouTube Channel)

Time: 9:30 a.m.

Duties: Consider applications to construct in tidal/non-tidal and vegetated/non-vegetated wetlands. This construction usually, but not always, involves rip-rap, bulkheads, groins/jetties, living shorelines and marinas. The Wetlands Board also regulates activities involving sand dunes. When necessary, the Board may consider civil penalties for violations of the ordinance.
